So Alex need a solution to find best property without contacting any of them. But there are concerns that he will be able to meet the requirements

Sitemap

Difficulty with website navigation was a primary pain point for users, so I used that knowledge to create a sitemap.

Paper Wireframe

Taking the time to draft iterations of each screen of the app on paper ensured that the elements that made it to digital wireframes would be well-suited to address user pain points.

Digital wireframes

As the initial design phase continued, I made sure to base screen designs on feedback and findings from the user research.

Findings After Usability Study

These were the main findings uncovered by the usability study:

  • Users get more idea if we give badge in each item like sale or rent
  • Users get a clarity for the apartment layout if we give a floor plan for each apartments
  • Users easily get the previous search items if we save the history

Mockup

What I learned ?

I learned that even a small design change can have a huge impact on the user experience. The most important takeaway for me is to always focus on the real needs of the user when coming up with design ideas and solutions.

What is Next?

  • Conduct follow-up usability testing on the new website.
  • Identify any additional areas of need and ideate on new features.
